Is Producer Brain a web app or a desktop app?
Producer Brain is a native macOS desktop app. There is currently no web app and no iOS version.
Does it work with Gmail?
Yes. You connect Gmail through OAuth and send sample packs, private links, or review links directly from the app. Every sendout is logged automatically.
Does it work with Dropbox?
Yes. You can bring packs into your sendout process through Dropbox links or upload samples to ProducerBrain Cloud.
Can teams and studios use it?
Yes. The Pro plan includes a Team Workspace with contacts, sendout history, opportunities, work context, roles, and invites.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The public trial is 14 days. You are charged for your selected plan after the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
Does Producer Brain guarantee placements?
No. No one can guarantee placements. Producer Brain gives you a system for tracked sendouts, clear Next Actions, and opportunities so real signals do not disappear into chaos.
Does Producer Brain read my Gmail inbox?
No. Producer Brain only uses the Gmail send permission to send emails you start inside the app. Producer Brain does not read, search, monitor, modify, or delete your inbox.
Can I disconnect Gmail or Dropbox?
Yes. You can disconnect integrations again. After that, Producer Brain can no longer use that connection for new sendouts or library features until you reconnect it.
Can I export my contacts?
The goal is that your data belongs to you. Contacts and important workflow data should remain exportable so you are not locked into a closed system.
Can I send attachments or only links?
Producer Brain is built for real music workflows. You can send attachments, use private cloud links, or share mix-review links depending on the workflow and plan limits.
Are there sendout limits?
Yes. Starter includes 2,000 email recipients per month. Pro includes 30,000 email recipients per month. These app limits govern ProducerBrain jobs; actual Gmail delivery also depends on Google/account limits, reputation, and responsible use.
Is ProducerBrain an email marketing tool?
No. ProducerBrain is built for targeted sample sendouts through your connected Gmail, not newsletters, bulk spam, or purchased lists.
Is ProducerBrain an accounting tool?
No. ProducerBrain helps you organize producer and studio work, open amounts, payment status, and local invoice PDFs. It does not replace bookkeeping, tax advice, or legal invoice review.
How can I cancel?
You can cancel anytime through the billing portal. Your access continues until the end of the paid period unless required otherwise by law.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are reviewed case by case. ProducerBrain does not provide outcome-based refunds for no placements, replies, streams, or revenue, and does not refund misuse, fraud, abuse, or ignored clear trial or cancellation reminders.
Do taxes apply?
Taxes may apply depending on your location. ProducerBrain does not claim that every worldwide tax obligation is already completed.
